The Massalikoul Djinan Mosque is one of Senegal’s most impressive and meaningful landmarks. Opened in 2019, it’s the largest mosque in the country and one of the biggest in all of West Africa.

The Bandia Wildlife Reserve, reached within a couple of hours by car from Dakar, is a 3,500-hectare private nature reserve that has successfully reintroduced native animal species, many of which had previously disappeared due to poaching and habitat loss.
